In the 1970s, Andreina De Cesare left Rome, where she worked as a theatre costume designer, for Sicily.\nHer creativity met the world of sweets in an unexpected way: a scenic cake, a New Year's Eve dinner, an inquisitive entrepreneur - and so the first order giving rise to Mamma Andrea's Peccatucci was born.\nFrom the veranda of her home, Andreina turns her talent for the beautiful and the good into an art: telling emotions through taste<\/b>.\n<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

\u201cWhile still pondering what I would do\nwhen I grew up, I was invited to a New Year's\nNew Year's Eve dinner at a friend's house. I made a cake\nimpressive cake that was an incredible success.\nan incredible success. Among the guests was\na wealthy businessman who made me a\nproposal: he would buy 100 of all the cakes\nof all the sweets I could offer him.\nI accepted. I started working on the veranda\nI invented 47 types and he kept his word, he bought them all.\nhis word, he bought them all. Thus were born I\nMamma Andrea's Peccatucci.\u201d<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

The workshop grows, the shop comes to life, and with it a new way of understanding confectionery.<\/span><\/p>

Andreina fuses the sensitivity of theatre with a love for the Sicilian confectionery tradition.<\/span><\/p>

Each cake is a small scene: a balance of aromas, colours and textures.<\/span><\/p>

Thanks to the contribution of the noble women who hand down the ancient recipes in Mrs Andreina's workshop, a work of attention and preservation of tastes and flavours begins.<\/span><\/p>

The packaging - once hand-painted, now made of precious papers - becomes part of the experience, a symbol of <\/span>a brand that \u201ccan also be tasted with the eyes\u201d.\u201d<\/b><\/p>
