For Peccatucci di Mamma Andrea, sustainability is not a trend, but a way of living and creating.

It is respect for the land that nourishes us, for the people who work it, for the beauty we wish to leave intact.

Every day we choose to produce with care, ethics and awareness, giving back a little of the magic that Sicily gives us.

Founded in 1989, Mamma Andrea is an artisan company that combines quality, aesthetics and responsibility, producing sweets and preserves that taste of Sicily and the future.

Raw Materials

We believe that sustainability starts with what we choose to put in our hands. That is why more than 80% of our raw materials come from small Sicilian producers: almonds, pistachios, citrus fruits, honey, spices and oils that tell of the island in all its richness. Each ingredient is selected according to criteria of traceability, transparency and freshness: we process the products within a few hours of harvesting to preserve their aroma and genuineness. It is a way to enhance the territory, but also to reduce the environmental impact and create value where everything is born - in Sicily.

beauty that is not wasted

Our packaging also tells a story of responsibility and love for beauty. It is handmade, with recyclable materials, reusable and durable. Each box is designed to be stored, transformed and cherished over time. We choose handcrafted fine papers and we reduce the use of plastic, promoting a’sustainable aesthetics that combines design, ethics and functionality. Thus, each package becomes a small objet d'art that lives on even after we have stored our products.

We were born and raised in Sicily, and here we want to stay. We produce the 100% of our products on the island, using local ingredients and supporting the artisanal supply chain that represents us. Our sustainable development is a journey, not an achievement: made up of daily choices, true relationships, respect for the land and those who inhabit it.
